An award-winning, nationally recognized leader in the fields of public finance and development, Odis Jones has been featured in such publications as the New York Times and Fortunate Magazine, and has won such honors as being named a 40 and Under Executive of the Year in the Columbus metropolitan area. A member of the International City Management Association and American Planning Association, Odis Jones played an instrumental role in rebuilding the Detroit power and lighting system as CEO of the Public Lighting Authority Detroit, and developed and managed over 30,000 public parking areas through such positions as director of real estate and development for the State of New Jersey.
Currently, Mr. Jones serves as a managing partner for MVP Capital Ventures, LLC, a multi-dimensional development company that has worked on a variety of projects in cities such as Detroit, Philadelphia, and Chicago.
Outside of work, Odis Jones is active in his community. He supports several local youth mentorship programs, volunteers at his church, and coaches little league football. An avid sports fan, he enjoys playing basketball, softball, and football when he has the chance. Beyond that, he is fond of spending time with his friends and family.
